This morning Charlotte Green totally lost it on Today on Radio 4, after reading out a short piece about an 1860 recording of a human voice on smoky paper (which sounded like Just William playing his comb). Unfortunately she giggled through an obituary of Abby Mann. Here's the clip.

A blonde joke this week. From the Adam Smith Institute blog. A blonde was playing Trivial Pursuit one night. It was her turn, she rolled the dice and she landed on “Science & Nature”. Her question was, “If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name, can you hear it?” She thought for a time and then asked, “Is it on or off?” And there will be a blond joke next week.
